Originally hailing from a small town in Missouri, award-winning
editor Kevin Ross always knew he would someday be working
in the Hollywood film business. After earning his bachelors
degree from the University of Missouri School of journalism,
Ross moved to Los Angeles to attend the graduate film program
at University of Southern California's School of Cinema &
Television.
Fresh out of film school, Ross received his first taste of
editing when he worked as an associate editor on the successful
sci-fi film, "The Lawnmower Man" starring Pierce
Bronson and Jeff Fahey. He then assisted on such hits as "Mrs.
Doubtfire," "Speed," and "Romy & Michelle's
High School Reunion." As additional editor on "The
Truman Show," he edited alongside acclaimed director,
Peter Weir.
Ross has edited television shows including "Freakylinks"
and television movies such as "Maniac Magoe." He
has also edited feature films including "100 Girls,"
which earned him Video Magazine's Video Premiere Award for
Best Editing, "Girl Fever," "Love, Lust &
Joy," as well as numerous shorts and documentaries.
Ross is currently wrapping up editing duties on Revolution
Studio's "Stealing Harvard" starring Jason Lee and
Tom Green. |
