Hollywood is a far cry from Valdosta, Georgia, the hometown
of renowned casting director Joseph Middleton. For the start
of his career, Middleton was a production assistant for Alan
Parker on "Mississippi Burning." His career took
off from there.

directors for young, hip and upcoming talent. He has cast
several huge box office features including the teen comedies
"American Pie" and "American Pie 2," starring
Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari, "Bring it On," starring
Kirsten Dunst, "Legally Blonde," starring Golden
Globe nominee Reese Witherspoon, "Not Another Teen Movie,"
with Jaime Pressly and Randy Quaid, and "40 Days and
40 Nights," starring Josh Hartnett.
Middleton has also worked on several critically acclaimed
films including "Go," starring Katie Holmes and
Jay Mohr, "Donnie Darko," starring Drew Barrymore
and Noah Wyle, "Restaurant," starring Adrien Brody
and Lauryn Hill and "Bourne Identity," starring
Matt Damon and Julia Stiles.
Middleton recently wrapped production on "Old School,"
starring Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn as well as "Extreme
Dating," starring Amanda Detmer and Jamie-Lynn Siegler
("Sopranos"). He is also working on two television
pilots for the Fall 2002 season. |
