Probably best known for her breakout performance in Christopher
Guest and Eugene Levy's critically-acclaimed "Best in Show,"
this past summer, Coolidge was featured in two of the year's largest
grossing comedies: "Legally Blonde," opposite Reese Witherspoon
and "American Pie 2," the follow up to the raunchy teen
classic.
Coolidge's other film credits include: Ben Stiller's "Zoolander,"
"American Pie," "Restaurant," "A Night
at the Roxbury," "Brown's Requiem," the hit comedy
"Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," "The Broken
Hearts Club," "Down to Earth," and "Pootie Tang."
Most recently, Coolidge completed an independent film for Jon Avnet
called "Carolina," starring Shirley MacLaine and Julia
Stiles. Coolidge plays a woman dodging prison for running a brothel.
This past fall, Coolidge was seen in the Broadway production of
Claire Boothe Luce's comedy "The Women." The all-star
cast featured Kirsten Johnson, Rue McClanahan, Cynthia Nixon and
Mary Louise Wilson.
